GreenLight Sport & Leisure

GreenLight is a powerful business intelligence (BI) tool for assessing the feasibility of new sports and leisure facilities.

It was developed to ensure feasibility studies are more targeted by establishing demand, affordability and return on investment at an early stage.

GreenLight allows real-time adjustments to facility mix parameters, utilising extensive benchmark data to predict capital and whole-life operational costs and provide social value and participation projections for a facility. This ensures efficient and accurate financial planning from the outset of a project.

The tool aligns with the Facility Planning Model (FPM) to align proposed facility mixes with local demand, avoiding over or under-provision of key amenities like swimming pools, sports halls, and gyms. It also cross-references latent demand research, ensuring decisions are backed by key performance indicators and industry benchmarks, maintaining the viability of proposed sites.


GreenLight provides clients with a quick and affordable first step for establishing the feasibility of sport and leisure new builds and extensions. Ready to use within 14 days, GreenLight can provide quick insights to inform decision making.

GreenLight provides interactive and instant scenario testing for the project team, allowing expectations to be established within the context of demand and affordability.
